Quality Engineer – Sheet Metal Industry Experience: 5–10 Years Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech – Mechanical / Production Job Responsibilities: Handle incoming, in-process and final inspection. Ensure quality of sheet metal components as per drawings and specifications. Identify and resolve quality issues through root-cause analysis. Handle NCR, rejection, rework and customer complaints. Prepare inspection reports and quality documentation. Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams for quality improvement. Required Skills: Sheet metal fabrication CNC Laser Cutting CNC Punching CNC Press Brake / Bending Stamping & Welding Engineering Drawing & GD&T Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc. 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, Fishbone, CAPA & 8D PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC & MSA AutoCAD / SolidWorks knowledge Good communication and problem-solving skills
