Printing Machine Operator

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Printing Machine Operator to operate and maintain printing equipment and ensure high-quality output according to job specifications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with printing machines, understand basic printing processes, and be able to troubleshoot common machine and print-quality issues. Key Responsibilities

• Operate printing machines safely and efficiently.
• Set up the machine according to the required size, material, colour, and print specifications.
• Load and prepare printing materials such as vinyl, flex, paper, PVC, acrylic, and other substrates.
• Check artwork/files and ensure they are suitable for printing.
• Perform basic colour and print-quality adjustments.
• Monitor the machine during production to maintain consistent output.
• Check printed materials for colour accuracy, alignment, quality, and defects.
• Carry out basic cleaning and routine maintenance of the printing machine.
• Identify and troubleshoot common printing and machine-related problems.
• Maintain proper records of production and material usage.
• Minimize material wastage and ensure efficient machine operation.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean production area.
• Coordinate with designers and the production team to complete jobs on time. Required Skills
• Hands-on experience operating digital/large-format printing machines.
• Basic knowledge of printing materials, inks, and media settings.
• Understanding of print quality, resolution, colour, and sizing.
• Ability to read job specifications and follow production instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to identify and resolve basic machine and print-quality issues.
• Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.
