Key Responsibilities

Plan and purchase products based on sales trends, customer demand, and seasonal requirements.

Identify and source new products, suppliers, brands, and manufacturers.

Manage product assortment, quantity, pricing, and purchase planning.

Analyse sales, stock, sell-through, and inventory movement.

Prepare purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery.

Maintain optimum stock levels across multiple retail stores.

Identify fast-moving and slow-moving products and take corrective actions.

Plan seasonal collections, new launches, promotions, and replenishment.

Coordinate with suppliers regarding quality, pricing, lead time, and payment terms.

Work closely with Sales, Inventory, Marketing, and Store Operations teams.

Conduct market research to identify new footwear and bag trends.

Negotiate purchase prices and commercial terms with suppliers.

Monitor product performance and recommend replacement or discontinuation of slow-moving items.

Preferred Candidate

2–5 years of experience in Buying, Merchandising, Merchandise Planning, or Purchase.

Experience in Footwear, Bags, Fashion, Lifestyle, preferred.

Strong knowledge of product trends and retail market.

Good negotiation and vendor-management skills.

Strong Excel skills; knowledge of VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, MIS and sales analysis preferred.

Good analytical and communication skills.

Ability to work with multiple stores and product categories.
