Senior MuleSoft Developer Job Description

Join Balusen Technologies as a Senior MuleSoft Developer to build enterprise integration and API solutions across Salesforce, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, data platforms, and modern AI ecosystems.

Roles & Responsibilities

Design and develop enterprise integration solutions using Mule 4 and Anypoint Platform.

Build scalable System, Process, and Experience APIs using API-led connectivity.

Develop REST, SOAP, and event-driven integrations using MuleSoft connectors.

Implement complex data transformations using DataWeave 2.x.

Integrate Salesforce, databases, SaaS applications, legacy systems, and cloud platforms.

Manage APIs using Anypoint API Manager, Exchange, and API Governance.

Deploy and manage Mule applications on CloudHub 2.0 and gateway environments.

Implement API security, authentication, authorization, policies, and governance.

Build CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines using Git, Maven, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

Troubleshoot integration, performance, deployment, and data transformation issues.

Develop automated tests, monitoring, logging, and observability solutions.

Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps, Salesforce, data engineering, and business teams.

Contribute to AI/agentic integrations, including MCP and Salesforce Agentforce where applicable.

Required Skills & Stack

5–8 years of hands-on MuleSoft / enterprise integration experience.

Strong expertise in Mule 4, Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio and/or Anypoint Code Builder.

Strong understanding of API-led connectivity and API-first architecture.

Expert-level DataWeave 2.x experience.

Strong experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, RAML, and OpenAPI.

Experience with System, Process & Experience APIs.

Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Database, HTTP, SFTP, JMS, and Kafka connectors.

Experience with Anypoint API Manager, Exchange, and API Governance.

Strong experience with CloudHub 2.0.

Knowledge of Omni Gateway / Flex Gateway and API security.

Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS/mTLS, and secure API design.

Experience with Git, Maven, CI/CD, and DevSecOps.

Strong SQL and database integration knowledge.

Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and enterprise delivery skills.

Preferred Qualifications

MuleSoft Certified Developer – Mule 4.

MuleSoft Integration Architect certification or equivalent architecture experience.

Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.

Experience with AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or cloud-native environments.

Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.

Experience with observability tools such as Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, or OpenTelemetry.

Exposure to MCP, Agentforce, AI/LLM integrations, or AI-agent architectures.

Experience integrating Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, Oracle, Snowflake, or other enterprise platforms.
