Project Scope

Service

Game Localization/Translation

Full-cycle game localization covering in-game UI, storylines, character dialogue, marketing copy and linguistic LQA, plus narrative polishing, cross-cultural adaptation and creative brainstorming with game teams.

Language pair (LP): ZHCN → EN

Core Requirement

Hands-on game localization experience and native/near-native English speakers.

Setup

remote role in core business hours

Workload

40 hours/week, Mon–Fri (8h/day)

Duration: Specific duration will be discussed with PM later (estimated 3 months, with potential extension for long-term cooperation)

Starting date

To be scheduled with PM once we shortlist you.

Workflow

Information verification, NDA signing, qualification sample test and full onboarding.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements (Must meet ONE of the following)

A Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent with significant translation training)

2+ years of translation experience + a college degree

5+ years of translation experience (no degree required)

A translation certification issued by an appropriate government body
