Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to help develop and maintain Kaseya's endpoint management agents across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile platforms.
This is a hands-on software engineering role focused on building secure, reliable, and scalable endpoint management capabilities. The ideal candidate is passionate about operating systems, systems programming, device management, endpoint security, and software quality.
Unlike traditional development environments where quality ownership is separated, our engineers own the full software lifecycle. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and support your solutions while building automated validation alongside the features you create. Successful candidates combine strong software engineering skills with a quality-first mindset and leverage automation to ensure reliability, maintainability, and release confidence at scale.
What You Will Do
Design and implement new features for endpoint agents across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile platforms.
Develop software components supporting monitoring, automation, patching, inventory collection, remote actions, scripting, and device management.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Own features throughout the entire lifecycle from design and implementation through testing, deployment, and production support.
Build automated tests and validation frameworks alongside feature development.
Develop automated coverage for functional, integration, regression, resiliency, and system-level scenarios.
Improve software quality through testability, diagnostics, telemetry, and automation.
Investigate customer-reported issues and production escalations.
Perform root-cause analysis and implement preventative solutions to avoid future recurrence.
Reproduce complex issues across diverse operating system and endpoint environments.
Improve agent stability, performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
Develop integrations with operating system management, security frameworks, and device management APIs.
Build telemetry and diagnostics capabilities that improve product supportability and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with Product, Support, Cloud Platform, Security, and Engineering teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Participate in design discussions, code reviews, architecture reviews, and sprint planning activities.
Utilize AI-assisted development and testing tools to accelerate engineering productivity and improve software quality.
