Job Purpose

To manage and oversee financial accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and other finance-related activities of the organization while ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely closure of books of accounts.
• Manage GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC and other applicable statutory compliances.
• Handle GST returns, reconciliations, assessments, notices and related documentation.
• Coordinate with statutory, internal and tax auditors.
• Prepare MIS reports, financial analysis and management reports.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow and bank reconciliation.
• Review purchase, sales, expenses, inventory and other accounting entries.
• Monitor and strengthen internal financial controls.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Ensure proper accounting and valuation of inventory, including raw material, WIP and finished goods.
• Review costing and profitability of products/projects where required.
• Coordinate with banks and financial institutions for banking-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST Act and other relevant regulations.
• Support management in financial planning and decision-making.
• Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain proper records and documentation for audits and statutory requirements.
• Work closely with HR, Purchase, Stores, Production and Sales teams on finance-related matters.
• Ensure timely payment of statutory dues and vendors.
• Any other finance and accounting responsibilities assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

• CA – Chartered Accountant (ICAI).
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Finance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Accounting, GST, TDS and Income Tax.
• Good knowledge of Excel and ERP/accounting software.
• Manufacturing industry experience will be preferred.
