Summary

Accounts Assistant responsible for sales invoicing, e-invoicing,e-way bills, purchase entries, cash \& bank reconciliation, inventory reconciliation, journal entries, vendor payments and SAP accounting. Basic Knowledge of GST/TDS/Inventory Movement/MS Excel.

About this role

Generate sales invoices, e-invoices, and e-way bills accurately and on time.

Record purchase entries and related transactions in SAP.

Prepare daily cash vouchers and enter transactions into SAP.

Perform regular cash and bank reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain and reconcile inventory/stock records between SAP and physical stock.

Prepare and post different types of journal vouchers and accounting entries in SAP.

Prepare vendor payment/cheque requirements after verification of invoices and supporting documents.

Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.

Assist with month-end closing, audits, and reconciliation activities.

Coordinate with internal departments and vendors for accounting and payment-related queries.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include generating sales invoices, e-invoices and e-way bills; recording purchase entries in SAP; preparing daily cash vouchers and entering transactions in SAP; performing cash and bank reconciliation; maintaining and reconciling inventory/stock records between SAP and physical stock; preparing and posting different types of journal vouchers and accounting entries in SAP; and preparing vendor payment/cheque requirements after verification of invoices and supporting documents.

Eligibility

• Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.

• Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts \& Finance.

• Hands-on experience in SAP and MS Excel.

• Good knowledge of GST, invoicing, e-invoicing and e-way bills.

• Experience in cash/bank reconciliation, inventory reconciliation and journal entries.

• Manufacturing industry experience will be preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
