Agentic AI Developer Hands-on engineering for reliable, secure, production-ready AI agents. Location: Mumbai

We are hiring developers who can build and debug AI agents and orchestration workflows, implement robust RAG, integrate tools/APIs, and help deliver secure, observable AI applications. Candidates must have personally built and tested working AI systems. Must-have Technical Skills Python & backend: Strong practical Python, async programming, debugging, testing, FastAPI/Flask, REST APIs, JSON, authentication and Git. Agents & orchestration: Tool/function calling, multi-step workflows, agent state/context, multi-agent patterns, retries, timeouts, fallbacks and human-in-the-loop escalation. RAG & retrieval: Embeddings, chunking, vector search, BM25, hybrid search, Reciprocal Rank Fusion (RRF), reranking, metadata filters, citations and retrieval evaluation. LLMs & MCP: Integrating OpenAI/Gemini/Claude or similar APIs, structured outputs, tool schemas, and MCP clients/servers or a clear understanding of how they work. Guardrails & AI security: Input/output validation, prompt-injection risks, PII handling, access control, safe tool permissions and secrets management. Evaluation & reliability: Test datasets, regression tests, tracing/logging, hallucination checks, token/latency monitoring and error handling. Additional Valuable Skills OCR & document AI: Scanned PDFs, OCR, layout/table extraction, document classification and structured extraction. SLMs & optimisation: Small Language Models, local inference, quantisation, model selection and cost/latency trade-offs. Multimodal AI: Working with documents, images, audio or voice where relevant.

Deployment: Docker, cloud deployment, streaming, concurrency and performance optimisation.

What We Expect Candidates must explain their own contribution to at least one working AI agent or RAG application, including architecture, orchestration, retrieval choices, failure handling and testing.

Tutorial-only exposure or prompt writing alone is not sufficient. Interview Process Technical discussion plus a practical exercise in Python, agent/tool orchestration, RAG retrieval and API integration.
