Accounting Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our client’s day-to-day financial operations. This role will assist with payroll processing, bookkeeping, and general accounting functions using ADP and QuickBooks. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities

Assist with payroll processing and related reporting using ADP.

Support bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries in QuickBooks.

Help maintain organized financial records and documentation.

Generate basic financial reports as requested (e.g., expense reports, payroll summaries).

Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Ensure timely and accurate data entry and maintain compliance with financial policies.

Assist with onboarding-related financial tasks, such as setting up payroll and tax accounts for new hires.

Communicate with vendors, employees, and stakeholders regarding payment status or payroll matters, as needed.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or payroll support.

Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and ADP required.

Basic understanding of accounting principles and payroll processes.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, etc.).

Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple priorities.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
