Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Assembler to join our Production/Assembly team. The candidate will be responsible for assembling components and sub-assemblies as per drawings, work instructions, and quality standards while ensuring proper fitment, functionality, and finishing.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic components as per drawings and work instructions.
Read and understand basic engineering drawings, assembly diagrams, and specifications.
Perform fitting, fastening, wiring, and other assembly-related activities.
Use hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and assembly equipment safely.
Check components for proper fit, alignment, dimensions, and functionality.
Identify and report defective or damaged components to the supervisor.
Ensure the assembled product meets defined quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Follow production schedules and complete assigned work within the required timelines.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Maintain proper records related to assembly and production activities.
Coordinate with the Production, Quality, and Stores departments whenever required.
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical assembly.
Ability to read basic engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
Knowledge of hand tools and measuring instruments.
Good attention to detail.
Good hand-eye coordination and practical problem-solving ability.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Willingness to learn new assembly processes and equipment.
Basic knowledge of workplace safety practices.
Qualification
ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.
Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also apply.
Experience
0–2 years of experience in assembly, manufacturing, engineering, or a similar industrial environment.
Candidates with experience in industrial equipment, instruments, flow meters, or machinery assembly will be preferred.
