Experience

4+ years in Pharmaceutical Sales (including 2–3 years in team leadership roles)

Job Purpose

To lead and manage the sales operations of a specific region by driving business growth, managing a field sales team, achieving sales targets, and ensuring effective territory coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets across the assigned region
• Manage and develop a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and Medical Representatives (MRs)
• Plan and implement effective sales strategies to enhance market penetration
• Conduct field visits to monitor team performance and support customer engagement
• Ensure effective product promotion and brand visibility through regular training and development
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to provide actionable insights
• Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals, stockists, and distributors
• Prepare and review sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to ensure accurate tracking and planning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, logistics, and HR
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and industry regulations

Qualification

• B.Pharm / B.Sc. (Life Sciences / Biology / Chemistry)
• MBA in Marketing or Business Management (preferred)
