Cath Lab Technician

• Patient Care: Prepares patients by explaining steps, shaving or cleaning the insertion site, and calming anxiety.
• Vital Monitoring: Tracks the patient's heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels during procedures.
• Equipment Operation: Manages high-tech imaging systems, X-ray machinery, and hemodynamic monitoring tools.
• Procedural Support: Hands tools and guides catheters or wires directly alongside the doctor.
• Lab Safety: Keeps the sterile field clean and manages emergency response equipment if complications occur.
• Angiogram: An X-ray test using dye to find blocked arteries.
• Angioplasty and Stenting: Opening blocked blood vessels with small balloons and metal tubes.
• Electrophysiology Studies: Mapping the heart's electrical pathways.
