E-commerce Operations Executive – Roles & Responsibilities 1. Product Listing & Catalogue Management
- Create and upload new product listings on Amazon, Flipkart and other e-commerce marketplaces.
- Add and maintain product information such as product title, description, specifications, features, dimensions, weight, colour, size and brand details.
- Upload high-quality product images according to marketplace guidelines.
- Select appropriate product categories, sub-categories, attributes and search keywords.
- Create and update SKU, ASIN, FSN and other marketplace-specific product codes.
- Ensure product content is accurate, complete and free from errors. 2. Product Data & Content Updation
- Regularly update product titles, descriptions, images, specifications and other catalogue information.
- Modify product details based on changes received from the merchandising/product team.
- Update missing or incorrect catalogue information.
- Maintain consistency of product information across different marketplaces.
- Monitor and resolve catalogue errors, suppressed listings and incomplete product pages. 3. Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels across Amazon, Flipkart and other marketplaces.
- Update stock quantities regularly to avoid stock-outs and overselling.
- Coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams for stock availability.
- Identify low-stock and out-of-stock products and take corrective action.
- Ensure marketplace inventory is synchronized with actual warehouse inventory. 4. Pricing & Offer Management
- Update product prices according to company pricing strategies.
- Maintain MRP, selling price, discount and promotional offers.
- Monitor competitor pricing and marketplace price changes.
- Update prices during sales campaigns and promotional periods.
- Ensure pricing information is accurate across all marketplaces. 5. Order Management
- Monitor incoming orders from different marketplaces.
- Coordinate with warehouse/dispatch teams for timely order processing.
- Track pending, shipped, delivered, cancelled and returned orders.
- Ensure orders are processed within the marketplace’s defined timelines.
- Identify order-related issues and coordinate with the relevant teams for resolution.
