Placement Coordinator
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented Placement Coordinator responsible for planning,
coordinating, and executing job drives in association with colleges, educational institutes, training centres,
NGOs, and other community organizations. The role involves building and maintaining institutional
relationships, sourcing candidates, coordinating recruitment drives, managing employer requirements, and
ensuring smooth execution of the complete placement process from candidate mobilisation to joining.
Key Responsibilities
Institutional Partnerships
- Identify and establish relationships with colleges, universities, ITIs, training institutes, NGOs, skill-
development organizations, and community groups.
- Coordinate with placement officers, faculty members, NGO representatives, and institute management
for candidate mobilisation.
- Develop a network of institutions for regular job drives and placement activities.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing institutional partners.
Job Drive Planning & Execution
- Plan and organize walk-in interviews, campus drives, off-campus drives, mega job fairs, and
recruitment camps.
- Coordinate with employers to understand job requirements, eligibility criteria, salary, location, interview
process, and joining timelines.
- Finalize suitable venues, dates, candidate capacity, and logistics for recruitment drives.
- Ensure smooth coordination between employers, institutes, candidates, and internal teams.
Candidate Mobilisation
- Mobilise eligible candidates through colleges, institutes, NGOs, training centres, job groups, and other
channels.
- Share job descriptions, eligibility criteria, interview schedules, and required documents with candidates.
- Conduct candidate registration and preliminary screening as required.
- Ensure adequate candidate participation for each recruitment drive.
Employer Coordination
- Coordinate with HR teams and recruiters of partner companies regarding hiring requirements.
- Share candidate profiles and drive details with employers.
- Schedule interviews, assessments, group discussions, and other selection activities.
- Follow up with employers regarding shortlisted candidates, offers, documentation, and joining status.
Drive Management
- Manage end-to-end logistics for job drives, including venue, registrations, attendance, interview
schedules, candidate flow, and employer coordination.
- Ensure candidates and recruiters have a smooth experience during the recruitment process.
- Handle on-ground issues and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for quick resolution.
MIS & Reporting
- Maintain accurate databases of institutions, NGOs, candidates, employers, interviews, selections, and
joining status.
- Prepare regular reports on number of institutions partnered, candidates mobilised, candidates
interviewed, candidates selected, offers released, candidates joined, and placement conversion rate.
- Track and follow up on pending candidate documentation and joining.
Relationship Management & Outreach
- Conduct regular visits and meetings with colleges, institutes, NGOs, and training centres.
- Explore new partnerships and opportunities for large-scale recruitment drives.
- Represent the organization at placement fairs, career events, workshops, and institutional meetings.
- Build long-term relationships with placement cells and community organizations.

Qualification & Experience
- Education
- Graduate in any discipline. A degree/diploma in HR, Business Administration, Social Work,
Education, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience
- 1–4 years of experience in placement coordination, recruitment, campus hiring, business
development, institutional relations, NGO coordination, skill development, or a similar role.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with colleges, universities, ITIs, training institutes, or NGOs.
- Experience in organizing campus recruitment or job fairs.
- Experience in bulk hiring or volume recruitment.
- Existing network with educational institutions and community organizations will be an advantage.

Role Objective
The primary objective of this role is to create a strong institutional and NGO network and consistently
generate quality candidates for employer requirements by conducting well-organized job drives and
ensuring successful placements from mobilisation through joining.
