Plumbing Engineer - 5 to 7 yrs (Imm joinee)

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Design and Layout: Create detailed plans, blueprints, and riser diagrams for potable water distribution, sanitary waste systems, and storm drainage using AutoCAD or Revit software.

System Calculations

Analyze and calculate water pressure, flow rates, pump sizes, and pipe sizing to ensure optimal performance.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure all plumbing designs adhere to local, state, and international building codes, health regulations, and safety standards (e.g., backflow prevention).

Project Coordination: Collaborate with architects and HVAC/structural engineers to integrate plumbing systems into building constraints (e.g., vertical shafts, ceiling voids).

Construction Administration: Perform site visits, conduct inspections, resolve technical issues, and approve shop drawings to ensure the system is installed correctly and according to design documents.

Cost Estimation & Budgeting

Develop cost estimates for materials and labor, manage plumbing budgets, and review contractor invoices.
