About this job

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing operations, coordinate nursing staff, and ensure high standards of patient care and clinical practices across the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of nursing staff.

Ensure quality and safe patient care as per hospital protocols and nursing standards.

Monitor staffing, duty allocation, shift schedules, and nursing manpower requirements.

Coordinate with doctors, nursing teams, and other departments for smooth patient care.

Conduct regular rounds and monitor nursing practices across assigned areas.

Ensure proper documentation, medication administration, infection control, and patient safety practices.

Address nursing-related concerns and support staff in resolving clinical and operational issues.

Monitor compliance with hospital policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.

Guide, train, and support nursing staff to improve clinical competency and performance.

Handle patient and attendant concerns professionally and escalate issues when required.

Assist in maintaining discipline, professional conduct, and effective communication among nursing staff.

Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and hospital accreditation activities.

Eligibility & Experience

Minimum 8 years of nursing experience required.

Candidates with experience in Ward / ICU / ER are eligible.

Strong experience in nursing operations and team supervision is preferred.

Excellent communication, leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
