Junior 2D/3D CAD & SketchUp Designer (Must Have Own Laptop)

We are looking for a versatile, detail-oriented Modular Kitchen & Wardrobe Designer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise 2D/3D layouts, managing backend order documentation, handling basic social media graphics, and occasionally assisting with store operations.

Mandatory Requirement: You must own a high-performance laptop equipped with a dedicated graphic card capable of smoothly running AutoCAD and SketchUp for heavy 3D rendering.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Drafting

Create accurate 2D floor plans, elevations, and 3D models specifically for modular kitchens and wardrobes.

Measurement & Scaling

Work seamlessly across different measurement metrics (inches, mm, feet) to ensure precise production dimensions.

Documentation & Billing: Create accurate client invoices, bills of quantities (BOQ), and vendor order lists using Microsoft Excel or any other preffered platform.

Marketing & Branding

Design basic logos, promotional banners, and engaging posts for our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, etc.).

Store & Vendor Management

Attend to walk-in customers professionally at the retail store if the owner is unavailable.

Occasionally coordinate with vendors and suppliers via phone to track material orders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Software Mastery

Proficient in AutoCAD (2D drafting) and SketchUp (3D modeling).

Domain Knowledge

Solid understanding of standard modular kitchen and wardrobe ergonomics, carcass sizes, and hardware.

Tech & Tools

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic graphic design tools (like Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator).

Hardware Ownership

Must own a personal laptop with a dedicated graphics card (Nvidia GTX/RTX or equivalent) and a minimum of 8GB/16GB RAM.

Communication

Good verbal and written communication skills to handle clients, vendors, and manage social media text.

Work Flexibility: Comfortable with a hybrid work model initially (visiting the store as required and working remotely for design tasks), onsite after Diwali.

Pay

₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
