About this job

We are looking for a Strategic Partnership Executive to build and manage partnerships with government organizations, industry associations, trade promotion agencies, embassies, investment agencies, and other strategic stakeholders.

The role is highly target-driven and business development focused, involving partnership acquisition, relationship management, delegate ticket sales, and country pavilion sales.

The ideal candidate should be confident on calls, comfortable speaking with senior stakeholders, and motivated by achieving sales and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and connect with potential strategic partners, including government bodies, fintech associations, AI \& Web3 associations, sustainability associations, trade promotion agencies, embassies, and investment agencies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners to increase event visibility, participation, and business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute partnership strategies to promote Trescon's global events.
  • Drive delegate ticket sales and exhibition opportunities through strategic partnerships and business development activities.
  • Identify and sell country pavilion opportunities to government bodies, trade organizations, and investment agencies.
  • Conduct outbound calls, follow-ups, emails, and online meetings with prospective partners and stakeholders.
  • Understand partner requirements and present relevant event participation and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Negotiate and close partnership and revenue opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Sales, Marketing, and Event teams to execute partnership initiatives effectively.
  • Maintain accurate partner and prospect information in the CRM.
  • Prepare weekly reports and consistently meet daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
  • Achieve partnership and revenue targets, with a minimum contribution of 10% towards exhibition and delegate ticket sales revenue targets.
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships that contribute to the growth and success of Trescon's global events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 0–4 years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, client servicing, or relationship management.
  • Experience in the events, B2B, media, hospitality, or similar industries will be an advantage.
  • Call centre / telesales experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Confident and persuasive telephone communication skills.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and following up with prospective clients and partners.
  • Ability to communicate with senior professionals, government representatives, associations, and business leaders.
  • Target-oriented with a strong focus on achieving KPIs and revenue goals.
  • Basic knowledge of CRM platforms and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple prospects and partnerships simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel when required for meetings, business development, and event promotions.

Pay
₹250,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
