Key Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Cook traditional South Indian items such as dosas, idlis, vadas, uttapams, pongal, sambhar and biryanis.
• Batter \& Ingredient Management: Monitor the proper fermentation of dosa and idli batters, check ingredient freshness, and ensure correct spice balancing.
• Mise en Place \& Kitchen Operations: Organize the workstation, manage daily prep work, and coordinate smoothly with service teams during peak breakfast or lunch buffet hours.
• Hygiene \& Sanitation: Maintain strict cleanliness of equipment (dosa tawa, idli steamers, grinders) and comply with food safety standards.
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels for specialized grains, lentils, and spices, minimize food waste, and assist with ordering.
