About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and patient-friendly Assistant Doctor to join our proctology team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have an interest in OPD-based clinical practice, patient counselling, and proctology care.
Freshers and doctors with up to 2 years of clinical experience are welcome to apply. Candidates with good communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a compassionate approach toward patients will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct and assist with OPD consultations under the guidance of senior doctors.
Take detailed patient histories and perform basic clinical assessments.
Assist in evaluating patients with common proctology conditions such as piles, anal fissure, fistula, pilonidal sinus, and other anorectal conditions.
Counsel patients regarding their condition, investigations, treatment options, procedures, and follow-up.
Explain treatment plans in a simple and reassuring manner.
Address patient queries and concerns and ensure a positive patient experience.
Assist senior doctors during consultations and clinical procedures as required.
Review investigation reports and coordinate with senior doctors regarding further management.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Ensure proper patient follow-up and continuity of care.
Follow all clinical, hygiene, safety, and ethical standards.
Candidate Requirements
MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
Valid medical registration.
0–2 years of experience in a hospital, clinic, OPD, or similar healthcare setting.
Fresh MBBS graduates with a strong interest in clinical practice are encouraged to apply.
Good communication and patient counselling skills.
Comfortable interacting with patients regarding sensitive and personal medical conditions.
Willingness to learn and develop skills in proctology.
Compassionate, professional, and patient-centric approach.
Ability to work collaboratively with senior doctors and the clinical team.
