Key responsibilities

• Supervise security personnel, duty rosters, and post assignments.

• Coordinate with hospital departments and emergency-response teams.

• Maintain incident reports, shift logs, and other security records.

• Ensure staff follow hospital safety procedures and provide courteous assistance to visitors.

Requirements

• Previous experience in security, preferably in a hospital or similar setting.

• Strong leadership, communication, and observation skills.

• Ability to remain calm and act responsibly in emergencies.

• Relevant security training or certification is an advantage.

• Monitor hospital entrances, visitor access, parking areas, and security equipment.

• Conduct routine inspections and patrols across hospital premises.

• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns; coordinate with hospital teams and emergency services when required.

• Maintain accurate incident reports, attendance records, and daily security logs.

• Train and guide security staff on hospital procedures, customer service, and emergency response.

• Ensure security operations follow hospital policies and applicable regulations.

Qualifications and requirements

• Minimum 12th-pass qualification; a diploma or degree is an advantage.

• Prior experience in security, with supervisory experience preferred.

• Security training or a recognized security-guard/supervisor certification is desirable.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Physically fit, alert, and able to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Basic computer and report-writing skills are preferred.
