Job Summary
We are looking for a Pharmacist to support medication dispensing and pharmacy-related activities at our healthcare facility in Hebbal, Bangalore. Candidates with previous hospital or clinical pharmacy experience will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense medicines accurately based on valid prescriptions.
Check prescriptions and verify medication details before dispensing.
Provide patients with appropriate instructions regarding medication usage as required.
Maintain pharmacy records, stock registers, and related documentation.
Monitor medicine inventory and coordinate replenishment when required.
Check medication expiry dates and ensure proper storage conditions.
Follow applicable pharmacy, safety, and storage procedures.
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare teams when required.
Handle routine patient queries related to prescribed medicines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
Ensure patient and prescription information is handled confidentially.
Requirements
D.Pharm / B.Pharm or relevant recognized pharmacy qualification.
Valid registration with the applicable State Pharmacy Council.
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
Good knowledge of medicines, prescriptions, and basic pharmacy procedures.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping abilities.
