Junior Product Formulator – Fragrance & Attars

Location: Hyderabad
Salary: ₹25,000 per month
Job Type: Full-time

We are looking for a hands-on Product Formulator / Fragrance Development Executive to assist in developing traditional Indian fragrance, attar and ritual-care products.

The candidate should have an interest or experience in attar making, perfumery, essential oils, fragrance oils, absolutes, resinoids, sandalwood-based products and cosmetic/paste formulations.

Products You Will Work On

Traditional attars and concentrated perfume oils

Sandalwood and rose-based fragrances

Civet-style fragrance pastes

Chandan and Kesar Chandan pastes

Ashtagandha and traditional ritual products

Fragrance balms and semi-solid perfumes

Essential-oil and aromatic blends

New fragrance and wellness products

Responsibilities

Develop and test new fragrance formulations.

Work from reference samples to create similar fragrance profiles.

Blend essential oils, attars, absolutes, resinoids and aroma materials.

Develop oil, paste, balm and semi-solid products.

Improve fragrance longevity, texture and stability.

Conduct small laboratory trials and maintain formulation records.

Assist with preservative and stability testing where required.

Source and evaluate fragrance and formulation raw materials.

Help scale successful laboratory formulations into commercial batches.

Maintain confidentiality of all formulations and product-development work.

Preferred Background

Candidates with education or experience in any of the following are welcome

B.Sc / M.Sc Chemistry

B.Pharm / M.Pharm

Cosmetic formulation

Perfumery / Attar manufacturing

Essential oils

Ayurveda or herbal-product development

Fragrance or incense manufacturing

Freshers with strong practical knowledge and genuine interest in fragrance formulation may also apply.

Practical skills, curiosity and the ability to experiment are more important to us than formal qualifications alone.

Salary: ₹25,000 per month
