Project Engineer (Building Project)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer – Civil to manage and execute large-scale building construction projects. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in project execution, site management, planning, quality control, billing and coordination with consultants, contractors and clients.

• Manage end-to-end execution of large-scale civil construction projects from commencement to completion and report to the Project Manager.
• Plan, monitor and control project activities to ensure timely completion within approved budget and quality standards.
• Supervise civil construction works including structural, architectural and finishing activities.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs and construction methodologies and ensure proper implementation at site.
• Ensure effective utilization of manpower, materials, machinery and other resources.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate with the QA/QC team to ensure required quality standards are maintained.
• Ensure compliance with project safety procedures and statutory requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and review progress, quality and productivity.
• Prepare and review project reports, progress reports and other relevant documentation.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure work is completed as per agreed timelines and specifications.
• Ensure timely completion, testing, commissioning and handover of the project.

Required Skills \& Experience

• 8–10 years of relevant experience in civil construction/project execution.
• Must have independently handled or significantly contributed to at least 2–3 large building projects.
• Experience with projects having a value of approximately ₹100–150 Crores.
• Experience in one or more of the following sectors: Healthcare / Hospital Projects, Residential Projects, Commercial Projects, Industrial Projects.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve site-level technical issues.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Strong focus on quality, safety, productivity and timely project completion.
