- OT Pharmacist
Ashwini Group of Hospitals, Cuttack, is hiring an OT Pharmacist to support the safe and efficient supply of medicines and medical consumables for operating theatres.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain OT pharmacy stock, including medicines, surgical supplies, and consumables.
- Issue required items to operating theatres and ensure timely availability.
- Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, storage conditions, and batch details.
- Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, returns, and usage.
- Follow hospital procedures and applicable standards for medicine handling and storage.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, OT staff, and the main pharmacy.
- Help prevent shortages, wastage, and expired stock.
Qualifications and Skills
- D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid pharmacist registration, where applicable.
- Experience in a hospital or OT pharmacy is preferred.
- Good inventory-management, communication, and record-keeping skills.
- Able to work responsibly in a fast-paced clinical environment.
