Ocean Freight – Job Description

Experience - 2-4 Years

Handle import & export ocean shipments from booking to delivery.

Co-Ordinate with shipping lines, Freight forwarders, customs brokers, customers & transporters.

Arrange container bookings based on cargo requirements.

Check vessel schedules, cut-off dates, transit times & container availability.

Prepare & verify shipping documents such as Bill of lading, commercial invoice, packing list, shipping Bill & arrival notice.

Track shipments & provide ETA/ETD updates to customers & internal teams.

Co-ordinate container pickup, stuffing, movement & delivery.

Customs clearance & port-related activities.

Monitor demurrage, detention, storage & other port related charges.

Verify ocean freight invoices & coordinate with accounts for payment.

Maintain Shipment records & prepare daily/Weekly/Monthly MIS reports.

Ensure shipments meet customer requirements & are delivered on time.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
