Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated Purchase Executive (0 to 1 Year Experience) to assist in our daily supply chain and procurement activities. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing components, obtaining quotes from suppliers, issuing Purchase Orders (PO), and ensuring raw materials and industrial components are delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Sourcing & Negotiation: Identify reliable local vendors, request price quotations, compare bids, and assist in negotiating competitive prices for components/materials.

Purchase Order (PO) Management: Prepare, issue, and manage daily Purchase Orders based on production requirements and requisitions.

Material Tracking & Delivery

Follow up regularly with vendors to ensure timely delivery of ordered goods and prevent production delays.

Quality & Inventory Check: Coordinate with internal technical, stores, and quality teams to verify incoming stock against purchase invoices and specifications.

Record Keeping & Documentation: Maintain detailed records of supplier quotes, invoices, bills of materials (BOM), and inventory logs in ERP/Excel.

Vendor Relationship

Build and maintain long-term, trustworthy relationships with existing and new suppliers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical, EEE, ECE) or B.Com / BBA with an interest in technical procurement.

Experience

0 to 1 Year (Freshers with good communication skills and a willingness to learn are welcome to apply).

MS Office Proficiency

Hands-on experience with MS Excel (Data Entry, Basic VLOOKUP/Formatting) and Word.

Communication

Good written and verbal communication in Tamil and English.

Technical Knowledge

Basic understanding of reading component specifications or engineering bill of materials (BOM) is an added advantage.

Soft Skills

Good negotiation skills, attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
