Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Engineer who has strong hands-on expertise in multithreading (concurrency), distributed systems, transactional processing, and backend design. The role requires someone who can design, develop, and optimize services running in high-volume, low-latency enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend services using Java (8/11/17) and Spring Boot.
• Build high-performance systems leveraging multithreading, concurrency controls, and asynchronous programming.
• Work on distributed system components such as messaging, caching, service discovery, and consistency models.
• Implement robust transaction handling using ACID principles, isolation levels, distributed transactions, and rollback mechanisms.
• Develop RESTful and event-driven APIs following best practices for security and reliability.
• Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and technical planning.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong Java 8+ (Streams, functional programming, Collections)
• Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data
• Concurrency & multithreading (executor frameworks, locks, synchronization, concurrent collections)
• Transaction handling: JPA/JDBC, Spring transactions, isolation levels
• Distributed systems: microservices communication, Kafka/RabbitMQ, caching, resilience patterns
• System design: scalability, load balancing, fault tolerance
