IT Analyst – SAP S4 ABAP Developer 

Job Purpose

 

The IT Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP applications using ABAP programming language. The role involves creating custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms, ensuring compliance with SAP best practices and delivering high-quality technical solutions to meet business requirements. 

Key Responsibilities

 

ABAP Development & Customization 

Develop and maintain SAP applications using ABAP (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms). 

Implement custom solutions and enhancements based on functional specifications. 

Optimize ABAP code for performance and scalability. 

Integration & Technical Expertise 

Develop and maintain interfaces between SAP and external systems using IDoc, BAPI, and RFC. 

Support integration with SAP modules and third-party applications. 

Performance Optimization & Quality Assurance 

Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards. 

Perform unit testing and support system integration testing. 

Collaboration & Support 

Work closely with functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions. 

Provide technical support and resolve issues in SAP applications. 

Experience

 

Minimum 6+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development. 

Strong expertise in ABAP programming and related technologies. 

Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and modern ABAP features preferred. 

Technical Skills

 

ABAP development (Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms). 

Experience with CDS Views, OData services, and SAP Gateway. 

Knowledge of performance tuning and debugging techniques. 

Soft Skills

 

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

SAP Certified Development Specialist – ABAP for SAP HANA
