Lab Technician & Phlebotomist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist / Lab Technician to join our growing diagnostic healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for drawing high-quality blood samples from patients, processing laboratory specimens, and ensuring accurate documentation while adhering to safety standards and NABL / CAP guidelines. The ideal candidate possesses excellent venipuncture skills, attention to detail, and a patient-first attitude.

Job Decription

• Perform safe and accurate venipuncture and capillary punctures on patients of all age groups.
• Verify patient identification and accurately label all clinical specimens according to laboratory protocols.
• Prepare, process, centrifuge, and store blood and fluid samples for chemical or hematological analysis.
• \[Optional for field roles] Conduct home sample collection visits, managing daily schedules, and securely transporting specimens back to the hub.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and fully stocked phlebotomy workstation or laboratory space.
• Run routine biochemistry and hematology tests on laboratory equipment and log data precisely into the EMR/LIS system.
• Adhere strictly to infection control, biohazard disposal, and patient safety protocols.
