Dialysis Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Setup \& Operation: Assemble, calibrate, and prime hemodialysis machines, dialyzers, and extracorporeal tubing circuits.
• Patient Preparation: Take pre-dialysis and post-dialysis vitals (weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature), and clean/prepare the vascular access site.
• Treatment Monitoring: Monitor patient vital signs, machine pressure parameters, conductivity, and fluid removal (ultrafiltration) rates throughout the session.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to machine alarms, drops in blood pressure, cramping, or adverse reactions, escalating critical issues to the nursing or medical team.
• Sanitation \& Maintenance: Disinfect, sterilize, and perform routine maintenance on dialysis delivery systems and water treatment/RO (reverse osmosis) units.
• Documentation: Record treatment data, patient progress, and machine checks accurately into electronic health records (EHR).
• Patient Support: Educate patients and their families on post-dialysis care, diet, medication adherence, and access management.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED, typically paired with a diploma, certificate, or bachelor's degree in Dialysis Technology or Nursing.

Pay

₹14,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
