Nursing Superintendent / Ward In-Charge

Roles \& Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and ensure comfort and safety of patients
• Monitor vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respiration) and record observations
• Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by the doctor
• Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergencies
• Maintain accurate patient records, nursing notes, and reports
• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control in the ward
• Educate patients and attendants regarding treatment, diet, and medication
• Handle medical equipment and ensure proper maintenance
• Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies
• Follow hospital policies, protocols, and nursing standards

Qualification \& Experience

• GNM / B.Sc Nursing (Mandatory)
• Valid Nursing Council Registration
• Freshers / Experienced candidates can apply

• Good patient care and clinical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork
• Compassion, patience, and responsibility
• Ability to work in shifts and handle emergencies

Working Hours

• Rotational shifts / As per duty roster
