Retail Merchandiser

Job Role: To ensure effective product visibility, availability, and display as per Apollo Pharmacy standards to drive sales and enhance customer experience. Key Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Store Merchandising & Execution: Implement planograms and visual merchandising guidelines across all assigned stores Ensure proper product placement, shelf stacking, FIFO, and category-wise arrangement Manage promotional displays, end caps, and new product launches 2. Inventory & Stock Management Coordinate with buying and operations team on sales, stock availability, and execution Check near-expiry, non-moving, and damaged stock and coordinate for returns Ensure 100% price tag accuracy and product availability 3. Audit & Compliance Conduct regular store audits for merchandising standards Photograph and report execution to manager via portal/app Ensure store appearance is as per Apollo brand standards 4. Coordination & Training: Train Pharmacists & Store staff on VM standards and new display norms.Build strong relationship with Store Managers and Pharmacists Support for new store openings - full merchandising setup 5. Sales Support Drive private label and focus brands visibility Analyze sales data and give inputs for improving category performance Report competitor merchandising activities Skills Required: Strong knowledge of Visual Merchandising & Planogram Good communication Skills, MS Excel and Mobile App reporting. Ability to travel 30-60 KM within cluster - Own bike Preferred Customer-focused and result-oriented KPIs: Planogram Compliance %Stock Availability %Sales growth of focus category Audit Score
