CCTV Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CCTV Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic security and video surveillance systems. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on technical experience with both IP and analog systems, possesses excellent analytical troubleshooting skills, and delivers exceptional client service.

Duties & Responsibilities

Installation & Setup: Plan, layout, and complete the physical installation of IP and analog CCTV cameras, NVRs/DVRs, monitors, and power supplies.

Cabling & Infrastructure: Run, route, and terminate necessary low-voltage cabling, including Cat5e, Cat6 and coaxial. Handle drilling and mounting hardware securely.

Network Configuration: Configure IP cameras, routers, network switches, and local/remote access parameters for seamless live viewing and storage playback.

Maintenance & Repair

Conduct preventative maintenance, routine system inspections, and repair or replace faulty hardware components.

Integration: (Optional) Set up and integrate relevant electronic security systems like Biometric readers, Access Control Systems (ACS), and public address systems.

Customer Support

Provide basic operational training to clients on how to view, record, and pull video logs from their security systems .

Job Specifications & Requirements

Experience

1–3+ years of proven field experience as a CCTV, Fresher also can apply.

Technical Skills

Strong familiarity with major security brands (e.g., Hikvision, CP Plus, Dahua, Matrix) and networking configurations.

Physical & Travel: Ability to travel locally for field site visits, work comfortably at heights (ladders/scaffolding), and handle hand tools.

License

A valid driver's license and own two-wheeler/vehicle are highly preferred.

Education

12th pass, ITI, Diploma or equivalent practical field experience.
