Interpreting technical schematics, blueprints, and engineering instructions to assemble or repair circuitry. Using diagnostic tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators to test system performance and isolate faults. Performing preventive maintenance, calibrating equipment, and documenting repair logs. Sourcing replacement parts and collaborating with engineers to upgrade or retrofit systems. Required qualifications typically include an associate’s degree or certification in electronics technology, strong mechanical skills, and proficiency in soldering and using hand tools. Essential skills involve problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to read complex technical manuals.
