Job Summary

We are looking for a disciplined, alert, and responsible Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of company premises, employees, visitors, materials, and assets at our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and control entry and exit of employees, visitors, vendors, and vehicles.

Maintain visitor registers, vehicle entry/exit registers, and material movement records.

Verify gate passes and material movement documents before allowing materials to enter or leave the premises.

Conduct regular security patrols of the factory premises, including production areas, warehouses, and parking areas.

Monitor and report suspicious activities, unauthorized access, theft, or safety violations.

Ensure proper checking of incoming and outgoing vehicles and materials as per company procedures.

Assist in emergency situations, fire incidents, and evacuation procedures.

Ensure all gates, doors, and restricted areas are secured as required.

Report incidents, irregularities, and security concerns immediately to the Administration Department.

Maintain discipline and follow company security policies and procedures.

Perform shift handover and communicate pending issues to the incoming security personnel.

Perform other security-related duties assigned by the management.

Eligibility Criteria

Education

Minimum 10th or 12th standard preferred.

Experience

1–3 years of experience in security; manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.

Skills

Good observation, discipline, communication, and basic record-keeping skills.

Physical Fitness

Must be physically fit to perform security duties and patrols.

Languages

Tamil; basic English is an advantage.

Personal Qualities

Honest, punctual, alert, responsible, and well-disciplined.

Working Conditions

Shift duration

12 hours, subject to applicable labour laws and approved duty arrangements.

Day and night shifts may apply.

Weekly off and overtime, wherever applicable, will be provided as per applicable law and company policy.

Must comply with factory security and safety procedures.
