Machine Cutting Operator (Jewelry)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate machine-cutting equipment for jewelry components and parts.
• Set up machines, tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters as required.
• Read and understand technical drawings, designs, measurements, and work instructions.
• Perform accurate cutting, shaping, grooving, and profiling of jewelry components.
• Check dimensions and workmanship during and after machine operations.
• Ensure proper alignment and positioning of workpieces before cutting.
• Identify and correct basic machine-setting or cutting issues.
• Maintain required production quantity and quality standards.
• Minimize material wastage and ensure efficient use of metal.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance of machines.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other production departments to meet delivery schedules.
• Report machine faults, tool damage, quality issues, or material discrepancies to the supervisor.
