Cardiac Technician – Roles \& Responsibilities

• Perform ECG, 2D Echo, TMT/Stress Test and Holter Monitoring as instructed.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures before the test.
• Operate and maintain cardiac diagnostic equipment safely.
• Record accurate test findings and maintain patient records.
• Assist the cardiologist during cardiac investigations and procedures.
• Monitor patients during tests and immediately report any abnormal findings.
• Follow infection control, patient safety and hospital protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of cardiac equipment.
• Ensure patient confidentiality.
• Attend training and maintain required competency.
