Asst. Manager Warehouse

To manage day-to-day online warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory management, timely order processing, picking, packing, dispatch, returns handling, and coordination with e-commerce platforms and logistics partners such as Myntra, Amazon, Shopify and other online sales channels.

Key Responsibilities

Order Processing \& Dispatch

• Monitor daily orders received from Myntra, Amazon, Shopify and other e-commerce platforms.
• Ensure timely order processing, picking, packing, labelling and dispatch within platform SLAs.
• Monitor pending, cancelled, delayed and urgent orders.
• Coordinate with courier partners and logistics teams for timely pickups.
• Ensure adherence to marketplace dispatch timelines and operational requirements.

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate stock records for all online warehouse inventory.
• Ensure physical stock matches system inventory and e-commerce platform listings.
• Monitor stock inward, outward, transfers, damaged goods and stock adjustments.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical stock audits.
• Identify stock mismatches and take corrective action to prevent overselling and order cancellations.

Picking, Packing \& Quality Control

• Supervise picking and packing teams to ensure correct SKU, size, colour and quantity.
• Ensure proper packaging, barcode scanning, shipping labels and invoice documentation.
• Implement quality checks before dispatch to minimise wrong shipments, damages and customer complaints.
• Ensure products are packed according to marketplace and company guidelines.

Returns \& Reverse Logistics

• Monitor customer returns, RTOs (Return to Origin) and exchange shipments.
• Verify returned products for condition, SKU, size and quantity.
• Coordinate with the quality and inventory teams for restocking, damaged stock segregation and discrepancy reporting.
• Maintain records of return reasons, missing products and damaged items.

Team Management

• Allocate daily tasks to warehouse executives, pickers, packers and helpers.
• Monitor employee productivity, attendance, discipline and work quality.
• Train team members on SOPs, scanning, packing standards and safety procedures.
• Ensure optimum manpower utilisation during peak sales and promotional periods.

MIS \& Reporting

• Prepare daily reports covering orders received, processed, dispatched, pending and cancelled.
• Track inventory accuracy, returns, RTOs, dispatch delays and team productivity.
• Maintain records of courier handovers, shipment manifests and warehouse discrepancies.
• Escalate operational issues, stock shortages and SLA risks to management.

Coordination \& Process Improvement

• Coordinate with the e-commerce, merchandising, inventory, accounts and customer service teams.
• Ensure proper system updates and real-time order status tracking.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organised storage, product traceability and safety standards.

Required Skills \& Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; warehouse or supply chain qualification preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in e-commerce, fashion or apparel.
• Prior experience handling Myntra, Amazon, Shopify or similar online order fulfilment operations.
• Knowledge of inventory management, SKU/barcode scanning, picking, packing, dispatch and returns.
• Good Excel skills and experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP or inventory software.
• Strong team management, coordination, problem-solving and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under dispatch deadlines and manage high order volumes.

Pay

₹25,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
