Resort General Manager & Front Office Executive

SOVA’s Nature Hideout - Pawna Lake, Lonavala

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Resort General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our resort and ensure smooth guest experiences, staff coordination, vendor management, and financial discipline.

Key Responsibilities

Property \& Guest Operations

• Oversee daily resort operations and ensure smooth functioning of all departments.
• Manage guest check-ins/check-outs and ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Handle guest enquiries regarding bookings, packages, facilities, and services.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest messages and enquiries across booking platforms.
• Handle and resolve guest complaints with a service-oriented approach.

Food \& Service Operations

• Oversee daily breakfast operations and coordinate effectively with Kitchen and Service teams.
• Generate and manage food bills for in-house guests.
• Coordinate between departments to ensure timely and efficient guest service.

Reservations \& OTA Management

• Manage OTA platforms and extranets.
• Handle reservations, room availability, rates, inventory, and guest communications.
• Ensure OTA listings and availability are updated accurately.

Staff \& HR Coordination

• Supervise staff and coordinate daily operational requirements.
• Address staff-related issues and disputes professionally.
• Maintain and update staff attendance records.
• Coordinate with HR regarding attendance and other staff-related matters.

Administration, Accounts \& Compliance

• Maintain daily operational and administrative records using Excel.
• Manage GST-related data and coordinate with the CA by providing required information and documents.
• Coordinate with vendors, negotiate/finalize bills, and ensure timely settlement of vendor accounts.
• Prepare and maintain P\&L sheets.
• Monitor operational expenses and coordinate with departments for effective cost control.
• Support management in maintaining profitability and financial discipline.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in hotel/resort/property operations.
• Strong experience in guest handling and front-office operations.
• Good understanding of OTA platforms and reservation management.
• Experience in staff supervision and team coordination.
• Comfortable working with Excel, billing, basic accounts and operational reports.
• Exposure to GST, vendor management and P\&L/cost control will be preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to take ownership and independently manage day-to-day property operations.
• Flexible to work in a resort environment, including weekends/holidays when required.

Salary

₹32,000 - ₹50,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
