Job Summary

St. John’s Universal School, Goregaon is looking for a passionate and caring Part-Time Pre-Primary Teacher to create a safe, engaging and nurturing learning environment for young children. The teacher will focus on developing children’s foundational academic, social and communication skills through interactive and age-appropriate activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging, activity-based lessons for pre-primary students.
• Develop early literacy, numeracy, communication and motor skills.
• Use stories, rhymes, games, art and creative activities to make learning enjoyable.
• Maintain a positive, safe and child-friendly classroom environment.
• Observe and track students’ learning and developmental progress.
• Support classroom routines and maintain effective classroom management.
• Encourage participation in school activities and celebrations.
• Communicate appropriately with parents regarding students’ progress.
• Prepare basic worksheets, activities and teaching resources as required.

Requirements

• ECCEd / NTT / Montessori / D.Ed. or relevant qualification preferred.
• Prior experience in a pre-primary setting will be an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, creative and child-centric approach.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Part-time availability is essential.
• Immediate joiners preferred.
