JOB DESCRIPTION

This Application Support Apprentice role offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to gain practical exposure to enterprise applications and IT support processes. The apprentice will assist in monitoring applications, handling user queries, logging and tracking incidents, performing basic troubleshooting, and coordinating with technical teams to resolve issues. The role requires good analytical and communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and a willingness to learn application support, SQL, testing, and IT service management practices in a professional environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide Level-1 support for business applications and portals.

Log, track, and follow up on incidents and service requests.

Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.

Monitor application health and report exceptions.

Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and deployment activities.

Maintain support documentation and knowledge articles.

Ensure adherence to defined SLAs and support processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate/Diploma in Computer Science, IT, BCA, BSc IT, or related field.

Basic understanding of SQL, web applications, and software systems.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and customer service orientation.

Willingness to learn and work in a support environment.
