Subject Teacher – Science & Commerce

Study Alpha Academy is looking for dedicated and knowledgeable teachers to join its academic team for Science and Commerce subjects. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, good communication skills, and the ability to explain concepts clearly to students.

Brief About the Role

The selected teacher will be responsible for conducting classes, explaining academic concepts, preparing students for examinations, assessing their progress, and providing appropriate academic guidance.

Area of Work

Teaching Science and/or Commerce subjects to school and competitive-examination students.

Conducting regular classroom and online sessions as required.

Preparing and delivering structured lessons.

Explaining fundamental and advanced concepts according to the students' academic level.

Solving numerical, conceptual, and application-based questions.

Preparing students for examinations through systematic practice and revision.

Conducting tests, assignments, and assessments.

Identifying students' academic difficulties and providing necessary support.

Maintaining regular communication regarding student performance and academic progress.

Scope of Work

Develop and deliver high-quality academic lessons.

Prepare study materials, worksheets, practice questions, and revision content.

Design and conduct chapter-wise and full-length tests.

Analyse students' performance and provide constructive feedback.

Clear students' doubts during and after classes.

Maintain discipline and an effective learning environment.

Collaborate with the academic team to improve course content and teaching methodology.

Contribute to the development of new academic programmes and learning resources.

Participate in academic planning, evaluation, and student-support activities.

Candidate Requirements

Strong academic background in the relevant Science or Commerce subject.

Excellent conceptual understanding of the subject.

Good communication and presentation skills.

Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and effective manner.

Teaching experience will be preferred.

Ability to handle both individual and group classes.

Commitment to regular classes and academic responsibilities.
