Retail General Manager

A Retail General Manager oversees multi-store operations, drives profitability, and leads store teams to achieve business growth.

Job Purpose

To take full ownership of overall retail performance across multiple locations, maximizing sales, managing inventory, and maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Strategy \& P\&L: Manage profit and loss (P\&L) statements, control operational expenses, and set sales targets.
• Operations Oversight: Enforce company standard operating procedures (SOPs) and coordinate logistics between warehouses and retail floors.
• Team Leadership: Mentor store managers, evaluate staff performance, and handle recruitment and training.
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, minimize shrinkage or waste, and oversee audits.
• Customer Experience: Maintain high service standards and resolve escalated customer complaints.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 5 to 10+ years of progressive retail management experience, including multi-site or high-volume store oversight.
• Skills: Strong financial literacy (P\&L), leadership, data analysis, and familiarity

Pay

₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
