Accountant

XLT Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting and finance-related activities at our office in Perungalathur, Chennai. Responsibilities: Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial entries Handle sales and purchase invoices Manage accounts payable and receivable Record receipts, payments and expenses Bank reconciliation and ledger maintenance Prepare basic accounting reports Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory documentation Maintain proper bills, vouchers and supporting documents Coordinate with internal teams for payment and billing requirements Support the management in routine accounting activities E-Way Billing Requirements: B.Com / M.Com / relevant accounting qualification Knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime and MS Excel Basic knowledge of GST and TDS Good understanding of bookkeeping (Zoho Books) and accounting principles Good attention to detail and accuracy Basic English communication Previous accounting experience preferred Job Details: Job Type: Full-Time | Work From Office Location: Perungalathur, Chennai Industry: Construction Equipment / Heavy Machinery Important: Candidates should be comfortable working from our Perungalathur office.
