Video Editor Intern

Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern who has a strong command of video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and other relevant software. The ideal candidate should be able to bring visual content to life with engaging edits, animations, and effects. If you have a passion for storytelling through video and can transform images and raw footage into compelling content, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the creation and implementation of social media strategies across various platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).

Edit and assemble raw footage, images, and graphics into high-quality videos

Use tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve

Proficiency in AI tools

Work closely with the marketing and design team to brainstorm video content ideas

Create promotional videos, reels, shorts, product videos, and social media content

Add music, voiceovers, text overlays, transitions, and effects as needed

Stay updated with the latest video trends and editing techniques

Ensure final outputs align with brand aesthetics and messaging

Manage multiple projects and deliver edits within set timelines

Collaborate with the design, marketing and content teams to ensure a cohesive social media identity.

Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, trends, and technologies.

Requirements

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and at least one other editing tool (After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.)

Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics

Ability to convert static images into dynamic video formats

Creative mindset and openness to experimenting with new ideas

Detail-oriented with a good eye for composition and transitions

Basic knowledge of audio editing and motion graphics is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Film, Multimedia, Animation, Communication, or related fields

A portfolio or samples of previous video editing work (college projects, freelance work, reels, etc.)
