Job Title

Staff Nurse / Nursing Staff – HealthBox OPD

HealthBox OPD is looking for a responsible and patient-focused Nursing Staff member to assist doctors during OPD consultations and perform basic nursing procedures. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of routine patient care, vital signs monitoring, and the operation of basic medical equipment, including BP monitors and ECG machines.

Key Responsibilities

Measure and record patients’ blood pressure (BP), pulse, temperature, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation (SpO₂).

Operate an ECG machine and perform ECG recordings as required.

Assist doctors during patient consultations and routine clinical procedures.

Prepare patients for examinations and basic diagnostic procedures.

Maintain patient records and document vital signs accurately.

Follow proper hygiene, sterilization, and infection-control practices.

Handle basic medical equipment safely and keep it clean and ready for use.

Communicate politely with patients and assist them throughout their OPD visit.

Identify abnormal vital signs and promptly inform the doctor.

Maintain patient confidentiality and follow clinical safety protocols.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification

GNM or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.

Registration

Valid registration with the relevant State Nursing Council.

Experience

Freshers with good practical knowledge and experienced candidates can apply.

Clinical Skills

Must know how to measure BP, pulse, temperature, and SpO₂ accurately.

ECG Skills

Must be able to operate an ECG machine, attach electrodes correctly, and record ECGs.

Basic Nursing Knowledge

Knowledge of patient assessment, infection control, hygiene, and basic first aid.

Communication

Good communication skills and a polite, patient-friendly attitude.

Other Requirements

Responsible, punctual, attentive, and willing to assist doctors in routine OPD activities.
