Job Overview

Bhakti Poly Plast is looking for a skilled Utility Technician to operate, monitor and maintain industrial utility equipment supporting our injection moulding manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and ensuring the continuous availability of essential plant utilities.

Key Responsibilities

Operate, inspect and monitor industrial chillers, air compressors, cooling towers and water pumps.

Monitor electrical panels, transformers, voltage stabilizers and UPS systems.

Perform daily utility inspections and preventive maintenance activities.

Monitor equipment readings, operating temperatures, pressures, water levels and other operating parameters.

Identify abnormal equipment conditions, leaks, unusual noise and performance issues.

Respond to utility breakdowns and coordinate repairs with the Maintenance team.

Maintain daily utility checklists, operating logs and maintenance records.

Ensure uninterrupted utility supply to injection moulding machines.

Support troubleshooting to minimize production downtime caused by utility failures.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in utility areas.

Follow plant safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.

Support energy conservation and utility efficiency improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or a related technical field.

2–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or utility operations.

Practical knowledge of chillers, air compressors, cooling towers and pumps.

Basic understanding of industrial electrical systems and preventive maintenance.

Experience in plastics, injection moulding or other manufacturing industries will be preferred.

Required Skills

Industrial utility equipment operation and troubleshooting.

Preventive maintenance and equipment monitoring.

Basic electrical and mechanical fault identification.

Maintenance checklist and record keeping.

Problem-solving and coordination with production teams.

Safety awareness and disciplined work practices.

Reporting Structure

The Utility Technician will report to the Maintenance Manager and coordinate with Production and other departments to ensure reliable plant utility operations.

Important Requirements

Willingness to work in shifts, if required.

Ability to respond to equipment breakdowns and production support requirements.
