Senior Frappe Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using the Frappe Framework.
• Build and customize ERPNext modules based on business requirements.
• Develop REST APIs and backend services for internal and external integrations.
• Optimize database queries and application performance.
• Create custom DocTypes, Reports, Workflows, and Server Scripts.
• Integrate third-party systems, APIs, and external services.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
• Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability.

Required Skills

• 2–5 years of backend development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Frappe Framework.
• Strong knowledge of Python programming.
• Experience with ERPNext customization and implementation.
• Strong understanding of MariaDB/MySQL databases.
• Experience in REST API development and integrations.
• Knowledge of Git and version control practices.
• Understanding of Linux environments and deployment processes.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Exposure to AWS, GCP, or cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Redis, background jobs, and caching mechanisms.
• Experience working with AI-powered applications or integrations.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of system architecture and scalability concepts.
